Please abide by these rules to help make the show successful and pleasant for everyone:
- You must maintain your booth so that it looks pleasant throughout the show
- You may not extend your booth beyond the designed area (at one show I saw someone with a 10x10 canopy in an 8x12 booth)
- All items displayed must be appropriate for students (specifically, nothing sexually explicit or crude - sell it at Spencers)!
- The State of Texas required that you have a sales tax permit if you sell more than 2 items. The permit is free, but you must apply for it, collect sales tax, then report it back to the State of Texas. Denton's sales is 8.25%. You can apply online at http://www.window.state.tx.us/taxpermit/. Please make sure you comply with the laws of the land. Refunds will not be given if you are shutdown by a government official.
- No open flames (or lit candles)
- No, you can not put nails in our walls, or deface the property in any way
- Smoking outside only, away from the two main entrances
- All booths must be manned by an adult
Since this is our second show, we have tried to think of everything possible to help this be a successful show; however we know that we will miss a few thing along the way, so don't be surprised that we add to or change our rules.
